What was supposed to be a black/white study turned out to be a pretty nice macro. I like the sharpness of the right keys and the white reflection which accentuates even more the black/white aspect of this picture. As usual, fiddled with it in ps a bit (levels, sharpened..)

Either your focus should be clearer, better OR your edges of the photo should be softer IN MY OPINION ( arghh ) it just isnt there yet and softening the edges more can be done.. you would have to reshoot it to correct the focus.

thanks for your comment. It is indeed a very simple composition which turned out so nice I decided to post it. I checked out your work and i noticed some nice pics as well. I like your "black and white with life" composition. Keep up the good work, cheers

Ohh this is lovely! I adore the piano, and black and white photos as well... so any shots containing those two elements are great. But you combined them! Very nice. I especially like the softness of the keys closest to me (err, left part) and it gradually becomes sharper fruther on up the key scale. It's wonderful again, and going on my list of favs! :)
